So in my search for time-wasters, I happened across a flash game that was almost educational!
Develops topological thinking, anyway. I got to level 7 and then just decided to rest on my laurels. So what's the deal there? Do the nodes need to have even degree, or does that not apply here? Nutty? Is it your father who's a topologist?
I decided that watching TV programs so I can clear them off my tivo counted as doing useful things.

Nutty, father, who is also mine, is not a topologist. He is a retired family physician. I don't even know what a topologist does, except in the basic etymological sense.
It's so weird -- the picture finally came up for me, but it cut off mid-chest. So all I can see is Jake looking down at what I presume is a cute puppy.
Damn. Somebody's father had an interest in things like how to get a shirt off from under a vest without undoing the vest and things like that.
Me? My dad is a retired doctor. Mostly, of the insides of people, although he probably removed a mole or two in his time. What's topology?
