Well, I'm back.
From the ER. Following doctor's orders, I went in, and nothing big is wrong, so yay. I can't wait to see the bill. Fucking hate this shit. I wish nothing big being wrong translated into a lack of nausea and a stable head. The lovely and gracious Polgara is stopping by in twenty minutes to haul my wobbly ass to PT, since I'm not up to driving -- but I'm sure up to being tortured. Maybe I can put my nausea to some good use.
Phone conversation I just had with Bob Bob:
Him: Oh my god, Oh my god.
You will not believe what I am seeing right now.
I don't even understand!
Me: what, what is happening? [thinking: riot outside]
Him: I just paused the [TiFaux].
And...there's an ad...still playing on the tv! They're advertising while I pause the TV!
Me: [thinking]
Him: it's like a box on the top left of the screen! It's silent, though.
Me: Sweetie, you just accidentally pressed the picture-in-picture button.
Him: Why didn't you tell me we had this?!
Me: Well, we've had this technology for 26 months now, I guess I never thought it would be necessary to point out the four buttons on the thing you use everyday that are dedicated entirely to PIP.

The nice guy who thanked me for coming in and not having anything big wrong with me (I think he was listening at the door as I bitched about having wasted time and money) said that it's not their job to find the small stuff, just to rule out the big stuff, and to see my GP about the small stuff. Frankly, I don't fucking care.
They never find the small stuff. I just sit around and feel like mid-grade crap until I don't anymore. It'd nice to be hungry again, and to be able to drive myself, but I'm not sure if my GP has any help to provide. If it's a mild concussion, it's just time and nothing else.
