Phone conversation I just had with Bob Bob:

Me: [thinking]
Him: it's like a box on the top left of the screen! It's silent, though.
Me: Sweetie, you just accidentally pressed the picture-in-picture button.
Him: Why didn't you tell me we had this?!
Me: Well, we've had this technology for 26 months now, I guess I never thought it would be necessary to point out the four buttons on the thing you use everyday that are dedicated entirely to PIP.

The nice guy who thanked me for coming in and not having anything big wrong with me (I think he was listening at the door as I bitched about having wasted time and money) said that it's not their job to find the small stuff, just to rule out the big stuff, and to see my GP about the small stuff. Frankly, I don't fucking care.
They never find the small stuff. I just sit around and feel like mid-grade crap until I don't anymore. It'd nice to be hungry again, and to be able to drive myself, but I'm not sure if my GP has any help to provide. If it's a mild concussion, it's just time and nothing else.

Well, they can be blamed for stifling this particular investigation. After Frist's charge that the Dem's were very rude and hijacking the Senate, Rockefeller produced a long and detailed timeline of all the requests to move the investigation forward.
The end result is that a bipartisan committee has to report back to the Senate by November 14th on the status of the investigation.
