The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hmmm.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I actually hit a point where I was sick of caramel for two days after I made a batch earlier this month.

I didn't think that was physically possible.

I have to give most of it away when I make it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

For those unaware, Polgara has a....thing about caramel. It's like how lori feels about assembling IKEA furniture.

I have not yet found my caramel ceiling. I suspect it's tiled with Cadbury Caramel Eggs, though.

I have not yet found my caramel ceiling.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

aurelia, have you really had that conversation? I hate them and really hope they don't exist except in fiction. Perhaps because it's so obvious.

Not verbatim, but close enough. It's obvious to the observer, sure, but when you're in it and doing the whole 2nd guessing thing and you have two people who don't really talk about emotions and stuff... well, it happens.
