All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

aurelia, have you really had that conversation? I hate them and really hope they don't exist except in fiction. Perhaps because it's so obvious.

Not verbatim, but close enough. It's obvious to the observer, sure, but when you're in it and doing the whole 2nd guessing thing and you have two people who don't really talk about emotions and stuff... well, it happens.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I have not yet found my caramel ceiling.

Mine was blessedly short-lived.

Which is good, because I'd made two pounds of the stuff, and you know, that's really a lot of caramel once it's all chopped and wrapped.

Given that I'm totally capable of demolishing a jar of dulche de leche by myself, I was a little shocked to discover I had a limit.

Hey, Polgara! Lady with hands again. I didn't finish the baby blanket for coworker. oops. Am too busy and ambitious for my own good.

Not too ambitious per se, but definitely too busy. There was a time when you could've finished it quickly, when you weren't juggling a gazillion different things at once. Not the end of the world. :-) I finished my diagonal scarf this morning, and I'm a quarter of the way through another blanket. Gotta figure out what project(s) I want to work on during the holiday weekend!

ETA: I've never had a jar of dulce de leche; I thought it was just something they made cheesecakes out of at the Cheesecake Factory.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It was the moustache, right?

hee No. That just amused me.

it actually made me almost sniffly too. I wish the shooter hadn't been Brass. I like him .

I'm kinda glad it was. The easy way out for the show would have been to make it a richochet from one of the bad guys. I think the decision to have it be Brass, a character we've all known for many seasons now, is a ballsy one and means so much more than just Random Dude #78.

Plus, that ending? Incredibly powerful.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Everytime a Buffista calls someone a FUCKO, Rio gets a kiss. Like It's a Wonderful Life, with profanity and tongue.

Oh, I think this needs tagging. May I?

I don't think I've ever had salt caramels. This is twisted and wrong, and must be remedied.

There's a place in DC that makes these kick-ass oatmeal cookies that are rolled in salt instead of sugar before baking. It's remarkably good. Perhaps I will make some. I'm feeling the baking urge coming on.

That mustache is evil and wrong, and it's making the baby Jesus cry. Also me.
