So, did Nip/Tuck do a very special 70 minute episode last night? Because, since it was my birthday people started calling me right at the final 15 minutes of Supernatural. I was on the phone at 9:30 and decided to set up to tape the repeat of Nip/Tuck - which I just watched. I caught the end and then the beginning up through the part where
Christian asks Sean to join in the face transplant.
My tape started when
Sean was having his fingerprints removed,
so what did I miss?
I will have to tape the Sunday Supernatural.
I haven't watched it yet, but Nip/Tuck is often a little longer than an hour. Oh -- looking at my DVR, it says it was a hour and 21 minutes.
sumi! how was the birthday? how was the dr.?
I love My Name is Earl. Who knew Jaime Pressley was so funny?
And no Gilmore Girls talk this morning? Hmm.
That may just have been the best GG episode ever.
Have they shown that person who Luke was interacting with before? That's a great character.
I suppose that they will trim it down in repeats?
My birthday was very relaxing.
I would have been more depressed by the doctor except that he didn't tell me anything that I didn't suspect: yes, I gained back all the weight therefore, my blood pressure and blood sugars were all up. And the 6 month glucose test had me with dietary diabetes level (it was a 6 something and last year it was a 1 something - so my system is totally protesting the abuse.) Meanwhile, my cold, which I thought was getting better seems to have gotten worse, so I need to go out and pick up the prescription nose spray plus various and sundry other things and the 24 degree temps with the big gusts of ice cold wind are making me really not look forward to going out.
Also, I need new buttons on both of my coats which means that despite having a good wool coat - I cannot fasten it.
And Alas - the place RAN out of cake before I got to dessert yesterday at lunch.
But otherwise, lovely lunch with a friend, relaxing afternoon watching Doctor Who and then more tv and phone calls in the evening.
Nope, that's a new character.
I'm guessing "best ever" comes from a longtime GG watching stance, because I only thought it was fine (and, in fact, didn't like the
Lorelai-Rory interaction until after she slept with Dean
because I liked how it made things change).
That may just have been the best GG episode ever.
I'm still mulling. But it did make me happy.
No, that person that Luke was interacting with is brand new.
Yes -- it was an excellent GG - did you think that the
guy at the Gazette was not going to hire Rory because Mitch had blackballed her
? Because I totally thought that so was pleasantly surprised when
she got the job.
I must admit when
Emily
and
Lorelai
were in the
plane -- that I was thinking come on Lorelai - hug your mom!
Because she just seemed so
broken.
Also, I am really not happy that
Christopher
is
popping back into their lives.
I'm irritated at both
Christopher
and
Luke's daughter
for
throwing wrenches into something I don't want there to be wrenches in. Don't Luke and Lorelai have enough of their own issues to work out without other people butting in? Come ON, world! Give them a CHANCE!
