You know, I've saved lives. Dozens. Maybe hundreds. I reattached a girl's leg. Her whole leg. She named her hamster after me. I got a hamster. He drops a box of money, he gets a town.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Dude, guys, my crush on my algebra teacher is getting out of hand. Today he corrected his grammar on the board.
Ooh! You should do what the girl in Indiana Jone's class did and paint your message of love on your eyelids. And then blink a lot.

Layers? Suit coat, lightweight sweater, shell? And pants, not skirt. Plus scarf and boots.
Yep. As many layers as you can and good socks under the pants if you can hide them. Or find them in a business-appropriate color.

I'm flinching with memories of a business trip in Michigan. In January. Brrrrr.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I will pay cash money if you do that and come back and tell us all about it.

yes, West. I think I am just resigned to packing my big ass coat. I hope that it one outfit and toilitries will allow for enough room for my laptop bag to fit in teh suitcase. I don't want to have to negotiate two bags tomorrow if I don't have to.

msbelle, I would suggest layers, and maybe carry your winter coat on the plane.

I sit in the back row. They'd have to be really big letters.

I hate the whole big coat thing. Since most of the time I'm flying to warmer climes, I resign myself to freezing my ass off at the airport and parking lot here. When I've had to haul along Gargantua (the winter coat ) I hand it off to the first airline attendent I see. The thing is half the size of me and barely compresses to carryon size.

tights, slacks, turtleneck, jacket, big coat, gloves. I figure we won't be outside for too long. I am actually more worried about wearing too much in the morning and being hot in the afternoon than being cold. I hate being hot and having to work. Now to pack.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Aw, Msbelle. I would do it now, so I can go off to sleep and not be obsessing.
