I'm sorry. You were going to ask me to choose, right? Did you want to finish?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Eh, electric or Lori, a dishwasher is a dishwasher... And I actually just finished up mine so it would only be what I dirty up making a fabulous dinner. Blasted that LA is too far from me because I really like making dinner for people, especially at their house. It's fun.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Catalina peeps, I'm telling you that there's not much to do except walk the beach, dive, kayak, swim. So expect the mellow.

I like the mellow. (or, what sarameg said)

turkey that needs to be thawed and brined

Kat, Alton Brown on Good Eats brined a turkey. I think the explanation was that it made the meat more moist. Do you find this is true? I've never had a brined turkey.

Yes. Brining is the WAY to go. Brine, then spice rub then cook at super high heat for a fraction of the usual time.

Brining meat in general makes it all good.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We brined our last few turkeys, and OHMYGAWD is it better. Moister and more flavorful.

Though the difficulty with brining a large turkey is finding a container to brine in and space in the fridge to keep it cool for the time needed to brine.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Rome made me cry. Even though it made me cringe because OMG the blood! The reckless decapitation and amputations! But Vorenus and Pullo have such a beautiful love! A. Beautiful. Love! [/Buffy]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's supposed to ease nausea, sumi.
