Jessica, yes.

Also, I don't normally do this, but I'd like a bit of cheerleading please.

I have not only printed out my slides for presentation on Dante, my poster presentation for sociology and have finished the research portion of my research on dante (though not organizing it or writing it) which included a whirlwind last-minute trip to the Bay Area, but I have graded 91 of the 110 research papers that were turned in on Friday and I only have 19 more to go.

YAY ME!

And did I mention that I brought back Fred Steak (5 lbs of it!) for those who are Catalina bound with us?

And now I'm off to return a skirt that fits too well and possibly make an appointment for Tuesday at Burke Williams.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

It's already been mentioned that she knows it.

MWAH! DJ, thank you. I'm just feeling pretty accomplished because it occurred to me that it takes me ~5 minutes per paper and I had 110 which meant ~10 hours of grading. I've been toting these everywhere this weekend.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dear god, Kat. Let me go have a lie down on your behalf.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I can't even imagine trying to grade papers, particularly that many. This and the fact that I lack patience, probably good explanations for why I'm not a teacher.

I have my NYE dress, and it's gawgeous! Now I must find shoes, elbow length white gloves, a stole, broach, and long earrings.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Go Kat! You're so good!

Dear god, Kat. Let me go have a lie down on your behalf.

Seriously, dude. I feel like I need a nap now, just hearing about all that.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Gold satin brocade, fitted to the knees and then flares a bit, drapey cowl scoop neck and low cut back. The open back is kind of interesting because it looks like the sides are hanging open. I will attempt pictures at some point.
