My son was doing actual science for his science fair project today. Whoo-hoo.
He's going to be using Snell's Law to calculate the speed of light in jello. (using a laser level and a protractor to measure refraction.)
Today he was shining the laser through various objects to see how much the light diffracted. Then he wrote all his expectations down and what actually happened. He and his friend were working hard to align everything and put a piece of cardboard to catch the beam.
Coolness.

It's a completely beautiful day out here today and I'm right by the beach. Of course, I'm also in a big black box working on a show. This is not right.
I had such a crush on Val Kilmer in his early years, before Top Gun. Real Genius was all it took.
I loved Real Genius. I stuck with physics and higher math *way* longer than I should have because I thought it would eventually be cool. Differential equations finally broke me.
There's going to be krav on Gilmore Girls.
I'm not sure if they'll namecheck it, but someone was training two people from the show today for a fight scene. No idea who the people were.
Huh -- I wonder who it could be. There are only 2 people I can think of who might want to beat each other up, and 1 was a guest star who I don't think is coming back.
If Rory has to krav someone, I will laugh and laugh.
Maybe it will be Paris and somebody. . .
I'm going with Paris and our favorite short person.
Jessica, I think it might be who you are thinking (unless you are thinking of
Jess)
and I think
he's
coming back for a bit. Unless (silly speculation) there is a throwdown between
Paris and Lane or Rory?
xpost
I can see Paris doing krav, but I can't see her doing it well. Other than that ... no chicks. And, yeah, not that many candidates total.
I was thinking
Jess and Logan, and Jess, AFAIK, was a one-time appearance.
I'm blanking on any other two potential fighters. Unless
it's Luke/Christopher?
