I'm always thrilled when my big boss gathers employees from both offices for a retreat/series of meetings. But a sizeable chunk of my co-workers are relatives, and most of the rest are longtime friends that I have fun socializing with.
>If they're going to buy you spa treatments, yay. If they want you to play getting acquainted games, NSM.
Ok- I think I might say yes and just roll my eyes the whole time-- do you think it is rude to ask if there will be internet or dvd access? Probably, huh? I will just bring lots of books
So many iTunes. So little gift certificate.
And yet? Still no Skee-Lo.
AND AND AND - no early Nelly. I want "Must Be the Money". I have to say though, the 90's One Hit Wonders is almost worth buying.
Almost.
is taking place over 2 days in a secret location.
OMG. That is TOO MUCH time with co-workers. Why are people so weird, and think that planning something like this is a good idea? Why?? WHY??!??!
I wouldn't go. Well, I'd go if I could take Tom with me, but I'll tell you right now there's no way THAT would happen.
Secret location MY ASS. WIll you be getting paid for this enormous amount of time?
Ok, I just emailed back that I can't go because I have no one to watch my cat (I even checked with 2 friends). So I have decided to go IF she offers to let me bring the cat.
Am sad about Kitchen Confidential.
WRT Alias, Sumi, I agree with you 100% about both the joy of seeing Amy Acker as an assassin and the fact that she's Rachel's Anna Espinosa. I was also a little heartbroken to see Syd playing the Vaughn tapes.
Also, even though I hate the fact that Vaughn is gone I think it makes much more gut wrenching watching for me.
Was it just me, or did that not sound like Vartan's voice on the tapes?
It sounded like Vartan to me. . . perhaps I should rewatch.
So, I have this group assignment due today, and as a "special prize" for the group that does the best job, the professor said he'd take them to dinner. One of my group-mates is all about winning, but honestly? The professor creeps me out a little, and I have no interest in going to dinner with him. Oy. I hate non-traditional rewards.
