Now tagless for your comfort.

That's right. I am the bad tv-is-my-babysitter mom!

Me, too! Maisy is my nanny.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Mario Badescu?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Mario Badescu?

That's the guy! Between him and Aveda my skin's a bit pricey, but it's doing well! It's always been soft, but concomitantly sensitive and liable to breaking out when the wind changed. Now, NSM. A zit or two when I'm pre menstrual, a zit or two inbetween, maybe, and that's it.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Aveeno has been our savior for over a year now. And Joe even uses the shave cream and no more bumpies!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Remind me of your LJ name, because I am horrible at remembering such things.

It's the same as here, only no caps. I can't handle having more than two names.

JZ, rosacea is basically a big annoyance. It's when your skin reacts badly to, well, just about everything, but esp sun, heat, and irritants. Rosacea tends to make skin red, plus you get tiny acne breakouts, and sometime broken capillaries if you are super lucky.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

H'rm. Looking at a couple of rosacea info sites, it doesn't look like that's the problem -- the only symptom I have on any of their lists is the acne itself, which means it's probably just acne itself.

Aspirin, honey, green tea, seaweed. I'm going to have quite the shopping trip this weekend!

My skin feels vaguely adult for the first time ever.

I swear, the only precipitating event for this that I can think of is that about a month ago I was looking at myself in the mirror while doing my eyebrows, and the surprised thought crossed my brain, "I have one zit. One! It's been, like, two years since I had an actual outbreak! It's really over, and I'm actually going to get a small grace period before the wrinkles set in!" I never should have allowed myself to so much as think that, it's so clearly asking for a dermatologic smackdown.

brillig

Hubby has acne all over. Mayhap I'll try that aspirin concoction on him in a small dose and see what happens.

You're probably right. In my case, the only symptoms were mild but persistent acne and pink cheeks. I never would have guessed, except both a dermatologist and an aesthetician both suggested it.

My husband is wacky sometimes. He locked the deadbolt, then took my housekey with him. Because you need the key from the inside too, I'm kinda locked in my house.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Do you like it, bon? I'm in love with the brow stuff. I'm at risk of Joan Crawfording.

I have lots of thoughts on it. It's ok. I don't regret buying it because I need photo finish anyway. But other than the pf, nothing really grabs me. I wish the brow stuff did more for me-- you can't really fill these babies in, and they're not unruly. The eyeshadow isn't quite saturated enough and ends up being more of a suggestion. I've never used cream blush before; I like trying something different but it doesn't beat Orgasm yet. I wish the "champagne" color did what the booklet claims (shadowing AND highlighting, apparently) instead of just making me look like I've escaped from Our Gang; but I'm excited to use the scarlet color for those few times I'm all dolled up. But I find the eyeliner stuff doesn't seem to work and still suffers from lack of saturation. As for the lip stuff, I have tons of wonderful lipsticks and glosses so I'll just add those to the pile of cosmetics I never use. I think I need to experiment more with it, like wetting the eyeshadow to deepen the color and figuring out what the white highlighter is for.

Origins. Origins skin care line is probably going to own my soul. I just got the Plantidote serum, and I think I have found my One True Skincare Product. Thank goodness I'm on the mailing list and they send me coupons for my birthday.
