When I was a kid, the Catholic schools got 11/1 for All Saints.
The Catholic school on my block when I was a kid in suburban Chicago always got Nov. 1 off for All Saints Day. It seemed entirely unfair that they got my birthday off and I didn't. Also, the parochial school kids liked to come to the public school and make faces at us through the window on days that they had off that we didn't.
Is much known about Alito?

Seriously? That's so shitty!

He's been on the bench for a long time; he's no jurisprudential cipher.

Well, he's acquired the nickname "scalito" if that tells you anything.
He's low-key right wing.
It was funny seeing the pres. introduce him. What, no football history? No "I know his heart"? Just his extensive legal background? Huh.

As I mentioned earlier, it doesn't tell you anything. Origin of Scalito:

I am in the gripiest mood that ever griped.
On the upside, the fact that it is Halloween today means that candy should be discounted at CVS, right? Right? Say yes or my day will be ruined forever.
Nutty, go mug a few kids this afternoon. That should help your mood a bit.
I'm with sara on the scavenger hunt thing. If people want to play games, go nuts, but leave me out of it. Hell, she should have been asked before being included in an activity that involved people taking things from her.
I would probably remove everything from the surface of my desk. If I were feeling generous, I might leave a box of tissues, and allow people to take one tissue.
