...because God knows you need some satisfaction in life besides shagging Captain Cardboard! And I never really liked you anyway. And you have stupid hair!

Visilurking

There's a certain (mild casting spoiler) Alias alumnus scheduled for next week.

I also just watched last night's WW. I'm sure most of America who skip the real presidential debates were pretty bored. But I liked it a lot.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Disturbing show.

Seriously. There's a whole speech and everything.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Has Kitchen Confidential been cancelled?

Not officially, but the buzz is it really has to perform next week if it wants to stay on the air. SO EVERYONE MUST WATCH BECAUSE I LOVE IT.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Will BC and NB be on it? If so, then I'm there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

If anything happens in the next year or so she can technically be tried for indecent assault given their age difference.

They're English. Well, living there, anyway.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

NYISTAS and Sofia:

Even though your vote for mayor doesn't matter, please vote YES on Proposition 2, the transportation bond.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

And on the other end of the country...if you're in Texas please vote NO on Prop 2.

I will never understand people that push the elevator button repeatedly, as if the force their exerting on button will be somehow pumped into the elevator mechanism and cause it to move faster.

I'm late to the elevator button discussion, but want to mention that all animals seem to do this. Not push elevator buttons, of course, but something parallel.

For instance, if you put a button in a pigeon's cage, and always light the button just before you feed the pigeon, the pigeon will start to peck the button over and over, even though pecking the button will not speed up the delivery of food. There is something hard-wired in all of us about interacting with things that predict food or sex or escape, even when that interaction does nothing to increase the chances of food or sex or escape.

Do you sometimes push the button and think "Mmm. That felt good. Let me push it ... mmmm. Still feels goo...mmmm." That happens to me sometimes.

Pigeons will work for the chance to push the button, even when pushing the button has no effect, so psychologists infer that it feels good to the pigeon. So in this case pigeons=ita.
