Have I mentioned yet today about how I hate people?

At first I thought that evildoers were checking my mail after the carrier had inserted it in my mailbox, but eventually I discovered that it was happening even when I got the mail before any non-postal worker would have a chance to get to it.

Some loser postal employees like to look for gift checks/money/cards in the mail.

edit: You'd think they'd just steal the whole envelope instead of leaving evidence of a crime.

Oh, I've been hating them since I got on a train that didn't end up going anywhere this morning, had to walk all over hell and gone to take a less-convenient line, and got to work an hour late.

That reminds me, I need to call my bank. It seems the PO decided to inform that I've moved to MI based on a temporary CoA from over a year ago.

I memorized my passport number, 2 passports ago. I do not know my most recent pasport #, but I remember that one, so I use parts of it for passwords even today.

This is why I cannot remember to do things like laundry. My brain is taken up with nonsense US-assigned number strings.

I knew a woman once who had her SSN printed on her checks. It was more convenient, she said. She was in the army, which, you would think being in a bureaucracy that large she would learn how easy it is for a bureaucracy to mess with your personal data, but she was quite confident in her public-SSN-ness.
