Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Pardon the sudden topic, but - is there really such a thing as people one can hire to come clean and organize one's abode? And if so, where would I be likely to find one?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesse, you wanted a scatter chart. With lines.

I broke. I gave in and took migraine meds. I realise it's not a macho game, but I'm more than halfway through my meds for this 30 day period, and I don't want to charge through them. I was hoping to make it through the weekend free. Almost.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Merry Maids is not the cheapest but they are bonded and insured. Which turned out to be a good thing when they chemicaled my old tub and it had to be refinished. It was the only issue I ever had with them and I don't think the reaction showed up until after they'd been gone for a couple of hours.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

ugh, ita. I'm sorry you didn't make it, but I am hope the meds make you feel better.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Wasn't Merry Maids one of the companies in Nickle and Dimed? Ours was recommended by Mr. Jane's boss's maid. I love her. She brings her kids, and occasionally we get to play with them, though usually she wants us gone because we get in her way.

I have to go vote on Tuesday against a proposition that's just flat out mean.

Can you write "Not nice!" on the ballot? Maybe shake wee fists of fury?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Merry Maids did a fantastic job cleaning up my old apartment and house when I moved out of them. Reasonable prices and I got my security deposit back from the apt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ah! Thank you!

So, I'm watching the Boondocks show, and I wish I didn't know the boys were voiced by Regina King. Now I can only picture her .

I WOULD LOVE THAT! I'm going to ask. The press calls it a vote to ban gay marriage, which, I mean we don't have same sex marriage here anyway. No this goes further, it says that only a man and a woman can get any of the legal benefits.

I'm also obsessively checking email to see if my friend in Paris has news, or is ok or whatever.

I rather hope not since I used them for a while and they aren't the cheapest service out there. Given that I was having it done while we were both (at the time) gone at work and we couldn't find any good personal recs, I demanded the bonded and insured parts.

They always did a really good job.
