ita, I have a question for you. When you've "fainted," was there anything leading up to it? Like a change in vision or feelings of nausea? Or did you just drop?
I ask because it seems I had a 'sode last night.

Okay, so this is freaking me out a little bit. There's a really strong burny smell in my bedroom. I haven't been smoking in there, so not that, thank god. And there's nothing up against the radiator. So - what then? I did put some new lightbulbs in the ceiling fan earlier - any way that could be related? I want to go put some laundry in but I don't want to go away until the smell does.
Damn, Kristen -- shall we start a group home for the intermittently able? You feeling okay now?
To answer your question, this time I got a really quick darkening of the fringes of my vision, and next thing I knew I was wondering why I'd decided to go to sleep on the floor. The time before, I actually felt the falling.
Brenda, are the lights on?
Yup. Maybe I should try turning them off, hey?

STOP THAT!

BOTH OF YOU!
Brenda, have you brought any new plants into your place recently? (I know that sounds crazy but the question comes from experience.)

We might need to. Or, at least, send Allyson for stress management since I think we're seriously freaking her out.
And I think I'm okay now. I'm mostly concerned about why it happened, irritated with my body for betraying me and pissed that it happened in the middle of my FREE Aerosmith concert.
I'm hoping it was just a bad s'more and it never happens again.
Kristen, is it possible you hyperventilated? I am convinced the reason I can almost never make it through a fireworks display upright is a combination of hyperventilating and locking my knees to look up. Yes, I am a grown woman who still gets really really excited at fireworks.
Nope, just some cut flowers from a wedding last weekend. But they're in the other room.
The smell seems to be fading, so I'll keep a close eye for a little while and let it go. But it was really strong for a while there. Scary.

Really? How do you feel about George?
Kristen, this happened at a concert? Did you hit the ground? Were you with people who noticed?
