Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Coding and Sleeping

Leif helped me mop the floor by emptying about 2 gallons of water from a jug onto the floor. I just got the floor dried off. Oh-oh they're coming for me...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Just water? Somehow I'm disappointed.

Coding and Sleeping

It appears Leif has put lots and lots of masking tape on his walls. No big deal. Well, now off to do more mopping, cleaning up in the living room, and making dinner.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I could tidy more, but he's going to have freshly washed, freshly bought modal beech sheets to sleep on and like it, dammit.

For a minute, I thought ita was having Batman sleep over, and I was getting worried about her brane. But then I remembered about the paternal visit.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

So Leif hasn't graduated to duct tape yet?

Better not let him talk to Laura's kids.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Today was a perfect fall day in NY, so I went back to the cemetery for more pictures.

(Compare with the pictures I took last spring.)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Had a fun day. We saw the Washington Savoyards perform The Mikado, which was good.(and made a bunch of political references as well) Then we had dinner at Jaleo(a tapas place we had a gift certificate to, courtesy of our morgage company), ending with flan.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Mmm, Jaleo.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I bought Girl Scout Cookies today.

They are all sitting in the freezer, unopened.

What is wrong with me?

Our wings are not tired.

Beautiful photos Tom. I love pretty cemeteries, but we have none near me worth photos. The Key West cemetery is kind of fun since it is above ground like the New Orleans cemetery. Both the spring blossom photos and the fall foliage are things I don't get to see often. Lovely.

Sounds like a great Saturday to me Sheryl.

Brendon thinks that since we have become accustomed to having no A/C the last couple weeks we should leave it off now that we have power. I think this is a bad plan. She says as the sweat drips into her eyes.
