Had a fun day. We saw the Washington Savoyards perform The Mikado, which was good.(and made a bunch of political references as well) Then we had dinner at Jaleo(a tapas place we had a gift certificate to, courtesy of our morgage company), ending with flan.

Mmm, Jaleo.

I bought Girl Scout Cookies today.

They are all sitting in the freezer, unopened.

What is wrong with me?

Beautiful photos Tom. I love pretty cemeteries, but we have none near me worth photos. The Key West cemetery is kind of fun since it is above ground like the New Orleans cemetery. Both the spring blossom photos and the fall foliage are things I don't get to see often. Lovely.

Brendon thinks that since we have become accustomed to having no A/C the last couple weeks we should leave it off now that we have power. I think this is a bad plan. She says as the sweat drips into her eyes.

Bwah! The A/C problem was solved with unusual speed. Immediately after having the A/C talk DH went to the bathroom and discovered that our cat had brought inside a particularly large and ugly variety of dead vermin. Since the entire back side of the house has been wide open the cat has been going in and out as she pleased. Usually she leaves the presents on the front step. (I am so grateful she chose the bathroom where she eats and not my bed)

All doors and windows are now being closed and the cool air is blowing on my head. Life is good.

I got up with every intention of going to a movie or two today. I puttered around for a couple of hours, then suddenly felt like I needed a nap. Well, it lasted 4 hours. So, I'm watching "Catch me if you can". Merideth Gray and Sydney Bristow are in it.

When they were coming for me, it was just my daughter coming to tell me that Leif was putting masking tape all over his walls. So, nothing too bad.

Are you sure it wasn't an amush? It could have been a clever ruse to lure you into the room and tape you to the wall, so Leif could open the floodgates?

I watched my niece's soccer team win their last game of the season (3-0, but the score would have been much higher except the opposing goalie was excellent), and then went shopping with my sister & nieces in SF. Now I've finished my leftover mac&cheese and am watching a new set of vids that came in the mail today.

Ooooh, Mag7. And Star Wars and Stargate and Buffy and Due South. Fun!

AM DONE! on feet for 7 hours talking up Little League administrators. WHEE! Just finished having a pedi, then a massage, then yummy japanese food. heading to bed in 20 min. for approx. 11 hours of sleep.
