Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be fake -- and so far wikipedia and google back me up.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Well, if it's fake, then you just have to know the whole show is taking place in Fake!Seattle.

Although I'm still rolling my eyes about some of the geographical liberties taken on Spencer For Hire. At least Grey's Anatomy doesn't include lots of impossible car chases.

Though I did read they're messing up their stock footage -- some is Kingdome, and some is post-Kingdome.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Silence means security silence means approval

I'll only accept Fake!Seattle if I have a higher paying job there where I don't work for asshats.

Grace is an amalgam of two buildings in Seattle -- the external shots are of the Liquor Control Board warehouse on Marginal Way, the chopper pad is in top of Fisher Plaza (where the ABC affiliate is based). They're two miles apart.

I'm sure there is a dw character played by some nice deserving actor who is doing very well.

Nah, not really.

They're two miles apart.

Has the show ever established where the hospital is?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Did they say anything about Toby?

They showed him watching Will's press briefing. There were many, many press questions about him but were answered with "on-going investigation-cakes." Or something to that effect.

What is another name for Christmas lights that doesn't involve a Christian holiday?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
