Well, if it's fake, then you just have to know the whole show is taking place in Fake!Seattle.

I'll only accept Fake!Seattle if I have a higher paying job there where I don't work for asshats.

Grace is an amalgam of two buildings in Seattle -- the external shots are of the Liquor Control Board warehouse on Marginal Way, the chopper pad is in top of Fisher Plaza (where the ABC affiliate is based). They're two miles apart.

It's implied that the hospital is Fisher Plaza and thus in the Regrade, though it's never actually been stated as such.

I know locals who watch GA just to laugh at the hilarious geography of Fake!Seattle.
