Can't you take it as a carry-on? That would be the easiest, I'm sure. Does your flight connect? I've found that's where you're most likely to run into hassles.

Would love to. He's too heavy, by at least one pound plus whatever the bag would weigh. They have a 15lb cutoff. I *could* try to put him on a starvation diet, but that's a little unfair. He's a solid boy - those who have met him can attest.

I never knew that until we had to fly Lucy out of Billings, Montana, when we moved from Wyoming back east. Very stressful. It was early April, and being below 10 degrees was not out of the question.

I'm sure this must be a brand-name that I'm just not familiar with, but rather than googling it, I'm just giggling at the mental picture of juliana boarding a plane carrying a small Himalayan Maountain Guide piggy-back.
