'Bring On The Night'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hec, I hate her hate her hate her. Please, somewhere in the shitloads of overtime that you'll no doubt be plowing through tonight, please touch up your resumé. That's all the Christmas present I ask.

Oh JZ, for a minute, I thought I was checking my e-mail to Scott.
Hec, may you get some relief at work.
Hey - i thought that was my email to Matt....
Cindy, I think you and beth and I need to work out some kind of three-way Strangers On A Train offing-each-other's-spouses-EEEEVIL-bosses deal. As long as we remember to come back here and delete all the relevant posts afterwards, it'll be perfect.
eta: BAHAHAHA! Best x-post ever!
Is it only me that sends my DH job postings?
Dear Various and Sundry Bosshats,
What the bleeding hell is wrong with you bloody bosses? Why do you bitches torture our bitches...er...husbands. They're ours. They came to us. Or something. Anyhow, and to sum? Lay off. What goes around comes around. Like butter scraped over too much bread. There's not enough time; there's not enough time. It's a long road that knows no turning. It's a long way to Tipperary. Don't let the sun go down on me. Walk through the fire and let it burn. It's Istanbul not Constantinople, and little lambs eat ivy.
We mean it.
JZ, beth, and Cindy.

I'm not doing a ton of overtime tonight. While work is busy, I have traversed the last major hump of the year. There's still plenty to do, but I've hacked my way through the biggest thicket.
Also, I emailed her back with an "this is what I'm doing - as you can see I have a lot of time sensitive work right now" and then went into her office to see if she wanted anymore follow up. She was fine, and set a date in late January to do the maintenance catch up, which was reasonable.
I'm totally anti-avoidant in those situations. I want to resolve them immediately.
beth, I do that too.
My day has been sort of good! I have:
- written an evaluation of my co-op student and nominated him for an award
- finished two reports to central agencies (one is late! whoops)
- had lunch with my boss and had much red wine
- spent the afternoon drinking lots of water trying to sober up
Or the short form:
Dear Various and Sundry Bosshats:
Let us 'splain... No, there is too much. Let us sum up.
We will cut you.
Kisses,
JZ, beth and Cindy
eta: Hec, I'm so glad she is being less of a total pus-bucket assmarmot at the moment, but that doesn't get her off my Notice Board. She is just exactly thisclose to the Dead To Me Board. Reasonable now, great, but she's twisted you through so many agonizing wringers over the last year. I'm not feeling overly generous with the slack-cutting.
