How was your previous delivery?
The labor was long (24 hours total) and exhausting but I actually had a good delivery--45 minutes of pushing with no real problems there (thank you, EPIDURAL!). I really have no complaints because it all worked out ok and even the stuff that didn't go as I would have liked seem fairly mild to me now. I'm comfortable with the idea of doing it again but I'm just a little afraid of a premature delivery.
All the best to your family, Cashmere. I hope your cousin make a speedy recovery so she can enjoy the baby. I hope the idiot doctors can't get insurance coverage after they pay a malpractice claim the likes of which they've never seen before.
vw, congratulations on draft having!
Lilybean, feel better and slay the snot monster.
The second time around is generally much easier. I went 16 hours with Brendon then only about 3 hours from the first twinge with Bobby. Your personal history is more indicitive of your future deliveries. (I did however think it was outragious that my records said "easy delivery" because it was easy for them to say, not so much for me!)
Ok. So, student who sent me a draft last night TURNED IT IN BEFORE TALKING TO ME!!!!! We had a meeting at 11:30 today, and she turned it in at class, even though she had till tomorrow morning.
It was terrible. She didn't want to spend any more time on it, so it's out of my hands, but eek.
Goodness, that's scary, Cash. I hope your cousin recovers soon.
I hate it when I'm on the verge of tears at work. It is a complicated work related issue, but the short of it is a promotion of me (good right?) but the reaction from my contracts manager has me feeling about 2 inches tall.
No more labor for me, thank goodness. Scheduled C-sections from here on out. I could totally do a VBAC but 1) why mess with the route I already got going? and B) GIANT CHICKEN SHIT. I'd rather be cut.
{{{{{{{MG}}}}}}}} No one should make you feel like crap for being as awesome as you are.
MG - congratulations on the promotion! And how crazy of that person to make you feel small when rewarding you! (idiot manager)
Also, I know what you mean. I hate crying at work too.
