P-C, dress nicely, though a suit would be overkill, I think. Take resumes in a folder. A cover letter would be a good. Be ready to do your 30 second self-pimp. View it as a pre-interview, IMO.
Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hi, P-C. Good luck tomorrow.
You should also take clips, P-C. You can make up some folders with your resume and clips.
PC, yes to everything DebetEsse said, although I'd be hard pressed to come up with a cover letter without a job description in front of me. Also, how's your handshake? Good luck! Gud, I'm sorry you're having a tough evening.
Yeah, I was going to say, resumes paper clipped , not stapled. Also make sure each resume has name and contact info on each page, and all pages except first should be numbered.
Also, since you are trying for writing positions, would not hurt of have some writing samples with you. Maybe on CD rather than paper to save printing costs.

That's what I meant by clips. Clippings. Copies of things you've written. Paper is probably best, since interviewers tend to scan them, if only to give them something to talk to you about.
Hard to have a cover letter if there's no actual job you're applying for--I'd say this is the one instance where one of those blurbs at the top of a resume would actually be useful and pointful. Normally I'm very anti those blurbs, they annoy me.
I'm finally home, but not especially wanting to go to work tomorrow. Besides all the "OK, now I'm back let me catch up on email" and work caused by teh travel, my semi-boss told me one of my other coworkers has been pulled onto a different project and so they may need me to do her travel too, in January. I was looking forward to teh crazy travel only being December, and then getting a break. ARGH. OTOH, sounds like some of her travel at least is Orlando...
t waves to everyone
I've been absento-girl lately. How goes stuff and things, Bitches?
