Willow: Were there dolphins? Tara: Yes. Many dolphins at the pound. Willow: Was there a camel? Tara: There was the front of a camel. A half-camel.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My mom still tries to do this, or at least tries to tell me what they are, but I've been insistent enough to keep safe so far. It's funny, because she was fine when I was a kid, but has been doing this for the last few years.

I shouldn't have said "was", because my mother is still doing it. Every time she sees me "Oh, you look cold why don't you wear this sweater I got you for Christmas" or "You need clothes for work, how about this?" or something similar.

Gah! Mothers.

Um, not referring to any mothers on this board, obviously.

If someone has leads on an article, I'll take. It can be general, but it needs to be related to international e-business and I need to be able to pick at legal implications.

Our wings are not tired.

You need a cat or a bag of feed corn to microwave.

No microwaving the cat!

she was always giving me presents ahead of time

My mom the opposite. She forgets where she puts stuff so we get our presents at random times when she finds them. She is quite adorable.

libkitty, I'm going to accept your advice as truly expert and put the dog to work!

Mom also does this. After the holiday is over and she cleans up all of the holiday mess, she always finds one or two gifts for me hidden somewhere. That is always the best.

Laura was right about the microwave, though. That's only good for the feed corn. Actually, the shower is probably the most effective, but the dog sounds like more fun.

eta: I'm off to walk home and get wet and cold myself. sigh...
