Huh. Good topic.
I have a strange and somewhat embarrassing question. The red menace has just overtaken my position and is waging a fierce battle of attrition. Tomorrow is my upper GI. Are these two events incompatible? As in, am I going to be walking around in a paper nightgown? Is cramping going to interfere with the test? Would they prefer that I reschedule or should I just suck it up and call and ask, or am I being ridiculous? Or all of the above.
Gronk. Still gronk. Party was fun last night. I ended up crashing the folks house. Hanging out this morning was actually more fun than the party.
Now must leave in a few moments to pick my mom up from the airport and give her car back to her. It's been fun playing eco-girl in the Prius this weekend.
We're all thinking, "mmmm, alcohol... the cause of, and solution to, all life's problems."
Also the cause of my wee hangover.
New haircut. Not that different from the old, but a steeper angle to the bob, a bit more asymmetrical, and with a few streaks of color added.
Anne is shockingly gorgeous. Hair's nice too.
I TIVO 'ed the goonies some time last week and made DH watch it .
I am just really loopy today - way tired from yesterday.
BTW, don't have a piano in your kitchen. people do not play soothing music while you cook. Instead they try to get three people banging on the piano ( at the same time) playing boogie-woogie.
Today is one of those days when I make up a lot of arbitrary rules.
Tomorrow is my upper GI. Are these two events incompatible?
When I had the upper it wouldn't have mattered. Sorry, no out there!
Dang, Laura. I thought you were my friend.
eta: Now I want a kitchen big enough, and a piano in it.
Also, Nora, insent!
Now that I have been able to scroll through all of Raq's photos. Oh my the Mal laughing shots are so smile inducing! And Raq looks quite stunning. And snow!!! And the architecture! Also, I love this bit [link] and couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at [link]
Really, ded from the cute now [link]
So, I'm at Starbucks and all set up to work with my tutoring student. Is she here? Nope.
Which xmas songs should I post to Buffistarawk?
"It's x-mas time (get in shape bee-otch!"
"X-mas in Djibouti"
"X-mas in Tattooine"
They're all good. Though the get-in-shape song is sort of like an 80s aerobics/dance club hit, whereas the other two are catchy songs with ukelele and pretty vocals.
