Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Which xmas songs should I post to Buffistarawk?

"It's x-mas time (get in shape bee-otch!"
"X-mas in Djibouti"
"X-mas in Tattooine"

They're all good. Though the get-in-shape song is sort of like an 80s aerobics/dance club hit, whereas the other two are catchy songs with ukelele and pretty vocals.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Timelies!

K-Bug had a softball tryout this morning for an 18u softball team. She has not picked up a ball in months, but did really well. They are supposed to notify those who made it tomorrow. The cost of the team, if she makes it....$950. YIKES!!!!! But will we sell our souls to do that if she makes it? You bet.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Mal is impossibly cute in the hat and sweater: [link]

That other guy in the picture isn't too bad either.

Nora, insent.

I don't think it will make much difference, Deena. Think of it as one day of being truly miserable as opposed to two days of feeling pretty damn miserable. The only problem that I could see is if the red plague makes you queasier than normal. The technicians who did mine said they were used to being thown up on and, frankly, if you're making someone drink barium, you'd probably better get resigned to it.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I picked up a 4.5 lb pork roast at the nearby market for 99 cents a pound. It has now been cooking in our 5 Qt crockpot for 4 hours.

The smell is driving the cats insane with desire. Look! Harvey's drooling.

Sammi is merely looking at me with the big eyes and saying "MURRRowr?"

Poor tortured cats.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I didn't throw up when I did my upper GI. It was pretty miserable making though. I'd say go with the one day of misery and get it over with.

Mom is heading home now. She bought me a nummy meal. I am feeling so damn much better.

What is even happening?

I had deb-age. I feel much better, now. She is, of course, exactly what I expected, from her voice (for which I've had spoilers via phone calls), to her physical presence, and her life force. In the words of my girl Buffy, there's not enough time. None of the photographs I've seen of her to date let on how young she looks in person, though.

Anne, I didn't get to see your photos earlier today, but while I was with Deb, she had to print out her boarding pass, and so she showed me.

*thud* Wow, woman. I've seen pictures of you before, but I've never seen you look like that. You're spectacular.

I'm so glad you got together with Deb! I was so disappointed for both of you at the prospect of missing the chance. Of course now I need to meet you cause I'm all jealous!
