Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Sorry, honey, its parcel post. but it is coming.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{MG}}} I hope the new year treats you better than this one did.

The tree is finally decorated! It looks so pretty. We put on lots of lights, silver beads and just four ornaments (Stewie from Family Guy for Dave, a Victorian style glass shoe for me, a brass first Christmas together ornament, and one with our names and the year from my mother). I'm feeling much better now. Thanks for all the hugs.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I read all of the last 350 posts, but I didn't meara, too tired. I did want to say that everyone who posted pictures is absolutely gorgeous and it was so nice to see them, and {{{{J}}} so sorry. I hope this limbo passes quickly.

Yesterday I had to meet with the representative from the public school, the parent advocate, Aidan's teacher and his speech therapist all together for 2 hours to decide what happens with him when he turns 3. Probably he will continue just as he's going now, but it's the law that the city has to get involved when a child turns 3.

Then, I went and bought two new tires (Suzi! My sister in don't wanna spend it.) and then went and picked up Greg from work, went out to dinner, stopped and picked up a couple of outfits for the kids, came home, did some Christmas shopping online and went to sleep.

Today we got up, dressed the babies in their new outfits, went to the Sight Center's Christmas party, ate breakfast, saw Santa, got home, put the babies down for a nap, went to the grocery store and bought the groceries for the next week, came home, fed everyone, put the babies to bed, and then made some Christmas presents. Whew.

Grr. I am trying to get directions for Dave to join me at my nephew's birthday party tomorrow, and I can't get the address to show up on any of the mapping sites. The road is a few years old, you would think it would be in the system by now.

Deena, that sounds like a crazy couple of days.
