Cass, I too hate the shopping and was forced to brave the mall last night after work for an outfit. Both parties tonight are formal and while I have nice work outfits, I don't want to wear something I'd wear on the average Tuesday. Still not sure if I like what I bought. Feh.
I've become SO lazy about coloring my hair. Part of the problem is that the blue is just such a comfortable color for me that my brain assumes it's natural, and that I don't have to dye it. Sadly, reality does not conform to this, and I end up with atrocious roots.
I understand this oh too well. But I've finished coloring my hair and now thinking of heading out for food soon. I should've stopped at the grocery yesterday.
Let's see if I can do this....

Haircolor wishes to those them needs. I have not colored my hair in a year - since my hairdresser dumped me. It is so dark and depressing, but will have to wait until DH is gainfully employed and I find someone I trust to mess with my hair again (after the orange hair disaster of 2001, I don't do my own hair).

I'm sure just a strong virus. But it is a very strong virus, because my mother rarely gets anything.
I thought Batman Begins was good, but I am sad at my lack of blown-away-ness. I had hoped for excellence, but maybe I'm just harder to blow away than I used to be.
I too should have braved the horror of shopping but sloth and fear of the mall won. At least 3.0 has a darling collection of shoes and jewelry for me to play around with soon.

I'm not going to get to see Deb tonight. Yesterday was too much for me, and today my head is pounding and my back is in so much pain. I feel awful for missing her visit.

True. If you have access to borrowing someone else's jewelry and/or shoes then I would try the black dress and fun borrowed stuff. Other people's stuff always being more fun. I wouldn't cover over the lacey pants because that would be sad. Maybe the laced sided pants with a festive top?
