Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm sure just a strong virus. But it is a very strong virus, because my mother rarely gets anything. I thought Batman Begins was good, but I am sad at my lack of blown-away-ness. I had hoped for excellence, but maybe I'm just harder to blow away than I used to be.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I too should have braved the horror of shopping but sloth and fear of the mall won. At least 3.0 has a darling collection of shoes and jewelry for me to play around with soon.

Puppycat is being too adorable for words. She's playing otter.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I somehow ripped the acryllic off a fingernail, so I need to go get it fixed. Oh darn...a manicure. A splurge to keep me sane!

I slept in this morning.

We have cleaned the common areas of the house.

I have showered.

Not a bad day so far....

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I'm not going to get to see Deb tonight. Yesterday was too much for me, and today my head is pounding and my back is in so much pain. I feel awful for missing her visit.

Our wings are not tired.

Health~ma to the mom of Erika. Keep your distance!!

Cass, you'll look gorgeous no matter what you wear.

True. If you have access to borrowing someone else's jewelry and/or shoes then I would try the black dress and fun borrowed stuff. Other people's stuff always being more fun. I wouldn't cover over the lacey pants because that would be sad. Maybe the laced sided pants with a festive top?

Health~ma to your mom, erika. I gave my mom plague right after Thanksgiving and she never gets sick either.

Sounds like a fairly decent Saturday, MG. You deserve as many sanity saving splurges as you can get.

Sorry you won't get to see Deb, sj. I hope the aches and pains subside soon. You should treat yourself to a nice cup of tea or cocoa and a good book.

Yeah, this is what I think too. I can probably wear some of her tops so I shouldn't stress. We're really differently shaped so it's a good thing I have the fun pants already. Fun borrowed stuff is definitely in order though.

Librarian Warlord

erika, I hope your mom feels better soon.

sj, I hope you feel better soon, too.

My husband cut his finger last night on a knife (while washing the dishes) and he's been a big baby ever since. It's hilarious.

We spent the morning sending boxes off to my nieces and nephews (all the gift tags say, "From: EnZed" because I bought everything this year in NZ) and eating yummy things at the Cheeseboard.
