This is my boat. They're part of my crew. No one's getting left. Best you get used to that.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

All sorts of ~ma to you, MG.

~ma, MG.

Okay, this is getting freaky. IT guy's mother just fell ill and is in the hospital. For those following along at home, that's one (possibly two) dead and at least four hospitalized. I should be getting hazard pay.

On the plus side, we did find Former Minor World Leader in time for her speech.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I should be getting hazard pay.

You should also give me a hairdo update.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Holy crap, brenda. You need some alcohol. And ice cream.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Oh hey, Stephanie! I was hoping to be on at the same time as you sometime soon! I had a question about the coffee. I've been stumped for a Dad-gift, and thought that your holiday pack might be nice, but I think he and his wife are pretty exclusively decaf these days. I saw a question answered on your site re decaf coffee, but didn't see it available to order. Did I just not look in the right place, or is it not available yet?

Is Ellie over whatever it is that's had her down yet?

Oh yes. This. Geez, I'm getting sympathy exhaustion just hearing about it! lots of -ma to see you through.

And MG-ma as well!

I don't think we have any decaf. At the moment, it's just the one whole bean, full caff, roast. We are hoping to expand, but it will be a while.

Yeah, Ellie's better. She's actually doing great. She would sleep but she wants to nurse to sleep and I'm trying to get away from that.

Umm, I might be wrong. Joe says we had some green bean decaf. He'd be happy to roast it for you in the next few days. If you decide you want some, e me at my profile addy and we will roast to order (provided he locates the decaf beans).

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

How old is she, Stephanie? And why is it that you want to get away from nursing to sleep? Is it hard on your body? Because if not, I'd recommend letting her find her own way out of that one. As Franny got older, she needed songs & books to fall asleep, not just nursing. And then it was easy to substitute those instead of.
