Hey! What do you two think you're doing? Fightin' at a time like this. You'll use up all the air!

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

FX has the CoW season 5 ep running today, but the snow or something has made the transmission null and blackscreen. Ptui.

Checkpoint! I love that one. I watch it when I need some inner strength.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Yes, I particularly enjoy the last 10 minutes or so, when she lobs swords at heads. Fills me with glee.

Trust my rage

All we have here is rain. Which, for those stuck in long commutes, would be an improvement, but I want snow, damnit!

Off to the gym I go. I'm not really in the mood for perky!aerobics instructor but I'm always glad I went when I'm done.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I managed to get back to sleep for *maybe* and hour before the boy woke up. DH is off to Vegas where it will be 57 degrees this weekend.

We've got at least 3 inches of snow on the ground and it's bitter cold and windy. Feh.

Lots of schools are closed or delayed. I'm wondering if Toddler Zone will be cancelled this morning. I should probably call before dragging O out in this crap.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

ita, I finished watching Colbert, and then dozed off for an hour, making it a much more reasonable wake-up time.

Now, I go make tea and cereal.

My first stab at keeping awake is going through provocateuse submissions and putting those up.

Excellent plan

Then I'll try TV and perhaps food.

These also often work well

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The fascist bastards say no soda, even if there's no caffeine. Which, aside from no caffeine is the only dietary restriction, so it's not going to prevent me from getting all hopped up on sugar.

My dislike of being hopped up on sugar should take care of that.

There we go. 50 or so pics added, thank you e-mails sent out. Time for herbal tea and my last mince pie and watching stuff on TV.

I don't think I've ever really dreamt about birds, d, especially not raptors. Hella cool.

Mostly lurking...

Snowing like crazy here too. School is, alas, not canceled for me. As a matter of fact, I just got a call from work letting me know that we will in fact be open as long as the school is.

Bummer.

Sorry about the headache, ita. That's not fun at all.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

We had snow yesterday, and this morning it is 9 degrees out, with wind chill just adding to the joy. I really, really wish I could stay home in my nice warm bed, but this is my first week at this new assigment.

BTW, I think I know why I've been stressed for the past several months - I've been changing jobs every two months or so ever since I moved back here. That might have a little something to do with it.

At least this assignment is temp-to-perm.

Thanks. Sadly, it's now perfectly normal -- I've woken up into a headache every day since the concussion.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

All rain here. Folks just west of us got freezing rain, so I'm counting my blessings. Love snow, but freezing rain is evil.
