Buffy: A Guide, but no water or food. So it leads me to the sacred place and then a week later it leads you to my bleached bones? Giles: Buffy, really. It takes more than a week to bleach bones.

'Dirty Girls'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's so nice, Cindy! I don't think degrumping is possible, sadly, since I woke up into a headache. And I'm not allowed ginger ale. Doesn't seem fair does it?

My first stab at keeping awake is going through provocateuse submissions and putting those up.

Then I'll try TV and perhaps food.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Ooh, waking up with a headace is awful! I can entertain you with more dream recitations, for I have had some doozies. Most of my truly disturbing fun ones happened in college, but there've been intriguing ones lately too. Fortunately I haven't had TOO much death and destruction though, because ick. I once dreamed I ripped the head off of an armless, legless guy. Took me a long time, too, because heads don't readily come off of bodies unless they are Barbie dolls.

FX has the CoW season 5 ep running today, but the snow or something has made the transmission null and blackscreen. Ptui.

What is even happening?

That's completely unfair. Whyfor no ginger ale? I thought for a moment you weren't allowed anything to eat or drink, but then you mentioned food.

A tough job, for a tough woman.

It is snowing like crazy here. The total expected is supposed to be between 6 and 10 inches. It's going to be a snow, rain, snow day, I think. I am waiting to see if school is canceled. I don't think it is. I am considering keeping the kids home. There's probably only a couple of inches or so out there now, but by the time they have to come home, it's going to be messy. I'm gunshy of driving (our car was totaled in a snow related accident in Maine, Sunday morning), especially in the rental. The kids could walk, but I'm a little gunshy of letting them walk, in case it's slick. It looks much like it did, when we had our accident. I don't want them to get hurt by some sliding car, either.

A couple of neighboring towns have canceled. I'm just waiting to see if our town has. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please.

YES!

I don't have to be the bad guy. Oh, thank you. I love having the kids home. I hate keeping them home, when they don't want to be home (my kids are all school lovers).

Checkpoint! I love that one. I watch it when I need some inner strength.

Yes, I particularly enjoy the last 10 minutes or so, when she lobs swords at heads. Fills me with glee.

Trust my rage

All we have here is rain. Which, for those stuck in long commutes, would be an improvement, but I want snow, damnit!

Off to the gym I go. I'm not really in the mood for perky!aerobics instructor but I'm always glad I went when I'm done.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I managed to get back to sleep for *maybe* and hour before the boy woke up. DH is off to Vegas where it will be 57 degrees this weekend.

We've got at least 3 inches of snow on the ground and it's bitter cold and windy. Feh.

Lots of schools are closed or delayed. I'm wondering if Toddler Zone will be cancelled this morning. I should probably call before dragging O out in this crap.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

ita, I finished watching Colbert, and then dozed off for an hour, making it a much more reasonable wake-up time.

Now, I go make tea and cereal.

My first stab at keeping awake is going through provocateuse submissions and putting those up.

Excellent plan

Then I'll try TV and perhaps food.

These also often work well

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The fascist bastards say no soda, even if there's no caffeine. Which, aside from no caffeine is the only dietary restriction, so it's not going to prevent me from getting all hopped up on sugar.

My dislike of being hopped up on sugar should take care of that.

There we go. 50 or so pics added, thank you e-mails sent out. Time for herbal tea and my last mince pie and watching stuff on TV.

I don't think I've ever really dreamt about birds, d, especially not raptors. Hella cool.

Mostly lurking...

Snowing like crazy here too. School is, alas, not canceled for me. As a matter of fact, I just got a call from work letting me know that we will in fact be open as long as the school is.

Bummer.

Sorry about the headache, ita. That's not fun at all.
