Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

I have two very good friends in Rochester, (one a Buffy watcher, but not a Buffista) and I've been known to visit them. In the Summer.

Yay for Tampa airport, having free wifi!

Boo for USAir not having an earlier flight home. Hmph. I finished hours earlier than I thought I would, and got to the airport about...um. ...four hours before my flight? Have had lunch, read here, LJ, mail, other stuff...I have a super long book, but I"m a fast reader and dread finishing it in the middle of the flight! Time to start reading NYTimes!

Because books.

I was in the Tampa airport yesterday! At, like, 7 a.m.

I had no laptop, though, so the free wifi wasn't something to yay about.

Really Amy? How funny! I'm sorry you had no laptop, though really, at 7AM, I'm not sure I'd be willing to risk what my fingers might type...

Yeah. I was not so much with the awake.

I was there Friday afternoon, too! And spent a lovely (warm) weekend with a friend in between.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

askye, a first degree burn isn't much worse than a sunburn. No fun, but not that serious.

4) it is way better for me to drive in evil weather because it keeps other people light s out of my car in narrow canyons.

Not to criticize any SUV owners here, but this is exactly one of the most annoying things about SUVs. You may be above other people's lights, but SUV lights are shining directly into my face (or rearview mirror).

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Hec, I cannot believe you let juliana's comment about the frostbite pass without jumping in with SF pimpage, describing just how balmy it's been today in SF and reminding her that soon, so very soon, frostbite will be a thing of the distant past for her.

Still nippy at night, but during the day it's really quite lovely.

We have one Hummer somewhere in our neighborhood, but I haven't seen it lately. I think the owner is hiding it in a garage somewhere, because people were leaving nasty notes on it.

They make reduced fat wheat thins, which are less greasy than the normal, but still too salty. They make reduced sodium wheat things, which are less salty than the original, but still too greasy. Why oh why don't they make reduced fat AND sodium wheat thins? That would be perfection.

This implies that wheat thins are not already perfection, which is just an absurd assertion.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Yep. Small cars are only dangerous when every OTHER frickin' car on the road is an SUV.

According to my car's temp gauge, it was 37 in Belmont when I left the house a little before 8:30 this morning.
