I couldn't wear it either, but I know I'm a font of body-image issues...or do I want "fount"?
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Think you're required to have visible tattoos?
The really visible tattooed girl is distracting, though I'm sure when you're used enough to her that you don't mistake her sleeves for the outfit's sleeves it's not so bad.
The Bettie Page clone is...man, a really good copy.
I like the Panther skirt here. Maybe when I start buying clothes in the new year I'll get something from them.
I like the Vamp Dress from that page, but I know from experience that those sleeves never look as good on me as I think they should.
I have yet to find the bra that would let me wear some of those necklines. Strapless bras shouldn't be that complicated. I'd love to try, though. They're kinda hot.
ARGH. The doctor? Who I need to call? To get authorization to refill my BC pills? No longer showing up on my insurance company's directory.
MotherFUCKER.
I am obviously lacking in cool and glamour. Skirts that are so tight you can see them pull in various directions only say to me "I refuse to admit that I should really be wearing a size larger". Plus they look so uncomfortable.
I think I need a humidifier or two for this apartment. Does anyone have a brand/make that they love, or one they would advise against?
I used to have this Bionaire, and before that I had another that I think was also a Bionaire. They did the job, but they were kind of noisy, and VERY annoying to clean... which led to them being gross, which led to me needing a replacement.
So I got a Venta, last year. It's expensive, but not so bad compared to buying a new humidifier every 2 years. It has a 10-year warranty, it's super-easy to clean, it's almost silent, and it's also an air-purifier. I can't swear to how good a purifier it is, but I'm about to lend mine to a friend with 3 cats, which seems like a good test.
When I was shopping around this seemed like a pretty good rundown of the pros & cons of different models.

I lurve my Venta. I can't sleep through the night without it in the winter.
A prescription is a legal document, no? Unauthorized destruction of a legal document is legal issue.
Congratulations on job-finding to Plei, and best of all possible luck adapting to daycare to Lilly and Mom.
Happy half-birthday to Ellie! And the coffee sounds wonderful, Stephanie!
The pharmacist question is so angry-making. The problem is that the US professional organization pharmacists belong to is headed by a woman who not only condones, but encourages pharmacists to refuse to fill BC and EC prescriptions, and probably other medications, as well. Only to women, understand, as men know what they're doing and couldn't possibly need second-guessing or shepherding in making good decisions about their health.
I'm of the Outback opinion--what a good illustration. If you feel morally or religiously unable to serve meat, don't take a job in a steakhouse.
DJ--ow. Nose-healing vibes to you.
