You know, I just... I woke up, and I looked in the mirror, and I thought, hey, what's with all the sin? I need to change. I'm... I'm dirty. I'm, I'm bad with the... sex and the envy and that, that loud music us kids listen to nowadays.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ouch, Maidengurl. I don't know about the ortho stuff, but are K-Bugs teeth in danger of being a problem, or can they wait a year or so? I've seen some wacky things Wisdom teeth have tried, but then again, I've also seen ones where they only wanted to pull them because they "might" be a problem.

OTOH? I wish I'd had my Wisdoms pulled long before they were.

Your (and others) teeth may vary.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I've seen the x-rays, all 4 are already starting to be impacted. Her appt is on the 20th, so that will happen soon.

With C, that is the total without insurance. Her father's coverage does not include the ortho I want to take her to - one I trust. If I get legal guardianship, I can put her under my insurance which will cut the cost a bit. Luckily her stuff can wait.

We will see what they want to do with CJ. He is still kinda young, so hopefully he is not "ready" yet.

DH has an interview on Wednesday. I know I said I'd quit giving y'all notice, but I still believe in buffista~ma....so I'll tempt the fates.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Took C to the ortho - they want to do $5,500 worth of work. Took K-Bug to the oral surgeon - they want $440 to pull her wisdom teath. CJ has an ortho appt on Friday. I'm scared.

Oof. Teeth are expensive. Must be why we get a practice set.

ION, Bec tells me that I got her "addicted to penguins". I'm so proud. A toaster seems inappropriate. Maybe a bar fridge? And the penguins are everywhere! I just saw a trailer for Happy Feet. So much fun.

Oh, and Bec's marrying TOG, once our divorce goes through. And I'm not. Thus nature balances itself.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

MG, the Navy told me when I was 19 that my wisdom teeth were impacted. Surprised the heck out of me when they all came in nice and easy-peasy around 21. I didn't have any of them taken out until around 12 years ago (in my 30s), and then it was only the uppers.

Also, ~ma to the DH for the interview!

vw, sorry to hear the tummy bug is still bugging. Wishing you clear fluids and crackers.

Calli, very sorry to hear about your former co-worker. But, glad that your memories of her are pleasant.

I've skipped and skimmed, so if anyone else needed ~ma, I send as much as you want or need.

Oh, and Bec's marrying TOG, once our divorce goes through.

Well, holy cow. How do you feel about that?

Knowing billytea, he's probably happy for her. Crazy nice guy.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

flea, I suspect you are correct.

So apparently there's an equation editor in Microsoft Word. For five years I've been doing all my equations by way of "Insert Symbol" and superscript/subscript. Christ on a pogo stick.

Yep. There is. You should have asked me! I am Word Woman!

I mean, half the time, the things I think are in there are tools and add-ins that I've built myself (What do you mean, you don't have toolbar X--OH! Right. That's MY toolbar.), but I could have told you about Equation Editor!

So, umm. It's been a whirlwind week.

I start work again next week. Contract. One I've done before.

Kindercare had a slot.

We took it.

So Lillian starts daycare/school next week, too.

Wish me luck.

I'm totally unprepared.

So, umm. It's been a whirlwind week.

Indeed it has, honeybunny!

Wish me luck.

It sounds like you already got some luck, on the daycare slot.

But, yeah -- big changes afoot. How will you transition Lilybean from the magical boobie?

meara - Dec 05, 2005 4:33:46 pm PST #7947 of 10003

Wow, Plei, that's crazy and good and madness all at once! LUCK!

I'm in Tampa right now. It is suddenly POURING outside, based on the loudness of the rain on the roof...

Oh, and Bec's marrying TOG, once our divorce goes through. And I'm not

Well of course you're not marrying him. That's not legal here OR there, silly man!

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, and Bec's marrying TOG

I know you would prefer that she was happy. So um yay I guess.

Big transition Plei. It takes a bit of time to get everybody used to the change, but having a schedule again will be great. The social aspect of going to work again and the money thing are nice too.
