Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Things are much better. We had a long talk and straightened some things out. And, we have scheduled date nights now with the understanding that sometimes those date nights may mean me doing homework while he watches some teevee. He's good with it.

It's tough to have so much on your plate and do the relationship thing too.

Amen, sister.

Our wings are not tired.

After 17 years or so we still have to schedule date nights. Things get too busy to leave it to chance. It takes some effort.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Took C to the ortho - they want to do $5,500 worth of work. Took K-Bug to the oral surgeon - they want $440 to pull her wisdom teath. CJ has an ortho appt on Friday. I'm scared.

Yikes!

All is well that ends in pizza.

Ouch, Maidengurl. I don't know about the ortho stuff, but are K-Bugs teeth in danger of being a problem, or can they wait a year or so? I've seen some wacky things Wisdom teeth have tried, but then again, I've also seen ones where they only wanted to pull them because they "might" be a problem.

OTOH? I wish I'd had my Wisdoms pulled long before they were.

Your (and others) teeth may vary.

I've seen the x-rays, all 4 are already starting to be impacted. Her appt is on the 20th, so that will happen soon.

With C, that is the total without insurance. Her father's coverage does not include the ortho I want to take her to - one I trust. If I get legal guardianship, I can put her under my insurance which will cut the cost a bit. Luckily her stuff can wait.

We will see what they want to do with CJ. He is still kinda young, so hopefully he is not "ready" yet.

DH has an interview on Wednesday. I know I said I'd quit giving y'all notice, but I still believe in buffista~ma....so I'll tempt the fates.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oof. Teeth are expensive. Must be why we get a practice set.

ION, Bec tells me that I got her "addicted to penguins". I'm so proud. A toaster seems inappropriate. Maybe a bar fridge? And the penguins are everywhere! I just saw a trailer for Happy Feet. So much fun.

Oh, and Bec's marrying TOG, once our divorce goes through. And I'm not. Thus nature balances itself.

MG, the Navy told me when I was 19 that my wisdom teeth were impacted. Surprised the heck out of me when they all came in nice and easy-peasy around 21. I didn't have any of them taken out until around 12 years ago (in my 30s), and then it was only the uppers.

Also, ~ma to the DH for the interview!

vw, sorry to hear the tummy bug is still bugging. Wishing you clear fluids and crackers.

Calli, very sorry to hear about your former co-worker. But, glad that your memories of her are pleasant.

I've skipped and skimmed, so if anyone else needed ~ma, I send as much as you want or need.

Oh, and Bec's marrying TOG, once our divorce goes through.

Well, holy cow. How do you feel about that?
