Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Yes, that would be the seecrit code. It looks like everyone can go forth and get half price until Thursday.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I feel like such an asshole! I've been skimming through all the things that I've missed, and they included lots of very wonderful birthday wishes which I have totally not seen/acknowledged until now!!!

Thank you so much, mi Bitches.

Our wings are not tired.

Stupid Palm Beach County Parks department closed the gate to the park where the theater is located so we couldn't see the play. We went to Chinese buffet instead.

Now to go outside and knock coconuts out of the trees.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Mmf. Want. But actually, I don't need any clothes, unless perhaps for the upcoming New Year's dress need! Okay, I know it's far away, but it's all I've got.

In other news, I am totally stuck on a midterm question that should totally not be this hard. I suck.

Emily, I've seen the work you do. It totally IS that hard, and you absolutely do not suck!

Thank you, Lilty, you always were my favorite.

Anyone around who's familiar with the nth roots of unity? It's not for my midterm, because I'm being good and not talking to anyone about that, but for that other class.

Did my math kill the thread again? Man, I'm so sorry. Um. I have cute pets?

(I did solve the midterm problem that was driving me nuts, by the way. I was forgetting that one integer times the next integer must be even. D'oh.)

You DO have cute pets! SO cute.

I need the hivemind's opinion. I really, REALLY need a second job. I applied at a couple of places, and am not hearing much, so I broadened the search today. I went to GameStop and they gave me an interview tommorrow, but they pay about fifty cents to a dollar less an hour than I'd get anywhere in the mall. I would really like to not be in the mall area at Christmas, though. This is in a much more mellow strip mall. Plus, it might be kind of fun.

So, would it be silly of me to take a little less money and work in a video game store?

Our wings are not tired.

IMO fun is worth more than money.

Laura is wise.

In other news, NotEmily!Roommate is listening to music. Why's he gotta go and do that, huh? With the door open? So that there's nowhere I can go in the apartment to get away from it? I suppose I could go to a coffee shop or something, but... I'm laaaaazy.
