Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Did my math kill the thread again? Man, I'm so sorry. Um. I have cute pets?

(I did solve the midterm problem that was driving me nuts, by the way. I was forgetting that one integer times the next integer must be even. D'oh.)

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

You DO have cute pets! SO cute.

I need the hivemind's opinion. I really, REALLY need a second job. I applied at a couple of places, and am not hearing much, so I broadened the search today. I went to GameStop and they gave me an interview tommorrow, but they pay about fifty cents to a dollar less an hour than I'd get anywhere in the mall. I would really like to not be in the mall area at Christmas, though. This is in a much more mellow strip mall. Plus, it might be kind of fun.

So, would it be silly of me to take a little less money and work in a video game store?

Our wings are not tired.

IMO fun is worth more than money.

Laura is wise.

In other news, NotEmily!Roommate is listening to music. Why's he gotta go and do that, huh? With the door open? So that there's nowhere I can go in the apartment to get away from it? I suppose I could go to a coffee shop or something, but... I'm laaaaazy.

Hey. New board.

All this talk of clothes reminds me that I spent about $350 at J. Crew and Armani Exchange the other day. Which is ridiculous, and I probably couldn't afford it. But at least I now have two nice sweaters, 5 high-quality long-sleeved t-shirts for layering, and three thicker thermal shirts, so I can survive the rest of fall.

Still need a coat and gloves. Thus, Macy's trip is on the plate for next weekend.

Why do I get interested in clothes AFTER I cut myself off from my parents financially? I wasted my supported years, I'm telling you.

Is there a discount? Are there cute geeks?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Am back from movie (mmm, nachos) and Target.

My search for Corpse Bride shoes has thus far been in vain. Target had no white heels in my size at ALL (target.com does, but not the Brooklyn store), DSW's were all over $30, which is too much for a wear-once-that's-not-my-real-wedding, and Payless had 2 pairs that were both too fugly for words.

I know it's out of season for white strappy sandals, but dude! This should not be so difficult!

If I can't find anything good by Friday, my version of the Corpse Bride is going to be in black leather boots.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I'd say Ginger's asking the right questions.

I went away to do family stuff and grocery shopping, and the thread went and changed without me.

Steph, gorgeous choices. I'm confused now, though. Who got the dress?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Stupid cold. Colds are not supposed to last 2 1/2 weeks! Stupid sleep deprivation making me a cranky bitch with no immune system.

Susan, I really hope you guys get some relief soon. Owen's cold has been hanging on for far longer than they usually do and if it's not in the clearing stages by tomorrow or Tuesday, we're going to the pediatrician.

We've been so exhausted by the sleep deprevation that both DH and I are coming down with colds as well.

Those dresses are awesome. Teppy, I especially like the stripey dress. The ones Plei linked are JZalicious.

I had most of the afternoon to go shopping. Got the boy some warm, footie pjs and some sweats for playing around the house. Then loaded up at the evil Sam's club with soda and Halloween candy and then hit Target for just about everything else.

We're now broke but couldn't possibly want for ANYTHING.

What size is the boy these days, Cash?
