Look, you got a little stabbed the other day. That's bound to make anyone a mite ornery.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Peapod or another grocery delivery place might also carry them.

I broke my Wal-mart policy when they offered the Razr phone through Cingular for $68. It's a $200 phone that Christopher wanted for Christmas so I broke down and got it.

Yeah, I broke mine back a couple of years ago when I was seriously flat broke. Things like dog chow were like half the price of the grocery store, and at that point, well, it gave me a new perspective on how much easier it is to stand on your high horse when things like an extra five bucks on chow won't break the bank.

Target for me is both easier and harder to give up - I'm not in that same position anymore, and the prices aren't so extreme on things I need that I can really convince myself that I can't afford to give it up. Oh, but that reminds me, I still need to write that letter telling them exactly why I won't be doing the bulk of my xmas shopping there as per usual.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

You guys wn't hate me if I keep shopping at Target, will you? I do it to support my brother who works for them! I've written them nasty letters, though!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

See me in post #7736, Aimee. No hating from this quarter.

And that is one heckuva magic wand, I must say. I might ike the crying with te cone hat the best. Shows she really is a one year old and not an ancient druid or something in the cutest disguise ever.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Oh that's true. They probably would.

Its one of the simple pleasures of life in New York.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Trudy's tagline:

Chuck Norris is not hung like a horse... Horses are hung like Chuck Norris.

Oh god. I can't know this.

And? I thought his acting improved over the run of Walker, Texas Ranger.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Huh. Y'know, I'm not sure how I feel about this. *g*

Heh. Well, Emmett really doesn't have an inferiority/superiority complex. He's an egotist (not uncommon for 9. - One therapist said, "Nine year olds like you to sit around looking at them and admiring them." - who was having a bout of anxiety).

Other things I'm not sure of: how I feel about Freaks and Geeks.

I think it takes off about four eps in, with the episode between Linda Cardellini and James Franco's characters where she breaks out laughing at the end (to not reveal plot). Also the faux-beer party, the D&D episode, the liberal use of Styx for dramatic effect, the ambiguous gender episode (particularly that actress) and both the disco and punk themed eps were great. Plus, there's the enduring genius of Bill.

Jon Stewart's Robert Plant imitation was pretty funny and spot on.
