Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Trudy's tagline:

Chuck Norris is not hung like a horse... Horses are hung like Chuck Norris.

Oh god. I can't know this.

And? I thought his acting improved over the run of Walker, Texas Ranger.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Huh. Y'know, I'm not sure how I feel about this. *g*

Heh. Well, Emmett really doesn't have an inferiority/superiority complex. He's an egotist (not uncommon for 9. - One therapist said, "Nine year olds like you to sit around looking at them and admiring them." - who was having a bout of anxiety).

Other things I'm not sure of: how I feel about Freaks and Geeks.

I think it takes off about four eps in, with the episode between Linda Cardellini and James Franco's characters where she breaks out laughing at the end (to not reveal plot). Also the faux-beer party, the D&D episode, the liberal use of Styx for dramatic effect, the ambiguous gender episode (particularly that actress) and both the disco and punk themed eps were great. Plus, there's the enduring genius of Bill.

Jon Stewart's Robert Plant imitation was pretty funny and spot on.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

And I get to see you, Trudy! We both win!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Yeah, Trudy. Thanks. Um, I think I'll pass on that. Cuz I seriously don't need a visit from Super Porny Pants AND Chuck (oh god, I can't type that right, now) Norris.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Also, in me-related news - I have now lost 18lb.

Huzzah! Though, I thought you were absolutely perfect before so I'm dubious that this is necessarily an improvement. As you were already the zenith of charm and desirability it's not like you had anywhere to go. But congratulations. Your hard work is paying off. Maybe some more Fay pictures would be a good idea?

THIS is precisely why I adore yon Hecubot.

I feel like I should have more to post, but I really don't. Must shower and get groceries. And then work out.

Oh! Tom Scola, if you're lurking, I'll call you when I get back from the grocery store (possibly 3-ish).
