[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey. New board.

This is a nosy question, but is she positive--is pregnancy an impossibility or just an improbability? I'm only being this nosy because pregnancy was the first thing that popped into my head. With all three pregnancies, I was tender and sore at a time of the month that would have been way ahead of schedule, if the tenderness/soreness was a PMS symptom. Then, on the days I should have been getting tender were PMS the cause, I felt normal.

If she is, she'll need to change her name to Mary.

Second: How long is--for quite a while (re hormones/birth control)?

Mmm. Two months-ish, I think. She went off them because she thought they were causing her to break out, and actually became LESS sore and bloated in the breasts immediately. Until now.

Third: is she on an oral antibiotic for her eye ook, or is she just using a topical antibiotic ointment/drops?

Drops only.

Fourth: has she had way more caffeine than usual this month?

She always has lots, I don't think this month has been especially extra.

Fifth: What amych said, all of it.

Gotcha.

What is even happening?

It may well be this then, David. The pill caused me to have some bad cystic issues, when I was in my early 20s. I had near immediate relief when I stopped. It's been too long for me to remember if I had any changes after. But it's still been a short enough time since GG stopped the pill, that her hormones are still seeking their own level. I do think she should ask a healthcare professional if she needs to be seen, or if she can ride it out another month, but it's probably not all that unusual.

The pill both interfers with ovulation, and in some cases where ovulation occurs, it can interfer with implantation of a fertilized egg. In other words, it works all sorts of hormonal mojo. After any hormonal change for any reason (natural or artificial) it takes a while to adjust.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Our enlightened approach to this is going to be to bribe him. Or rather, get him to focus on the after reward and getting through the difficult thing he doesn't want to face.

If I cry and scream and yell in therapy, will you buy me a gelato?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

If I cry and scream and yell in therapy, will you buy me a gelato?

Hells yeah.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

gallons of gelatto for Tom. Hope the baseball hamster goes away for Emmett.

The money hamster stuck around for awhile. As per usual, looking at the money plan for this month, it looks solid in the light of day, just not ideal. and that is what makes the money hamster squeel.

I prefer gelato. or sleep.

I refuse to look the money hamster in the eye this month. I've bolted his little fucking squeaky wheel in one position, let him run all he wants. OTOH, thank heavens for some of the sales going on right now. I cleaned up on some really impressive presents yesterday and kept it well within my budget.

I have done really well this year. I have not over spent. - and I should get everyone's gifts out before I have to overspend on shipping . so the money hamster is stoopid. he wants me to wait- but that would cost more money.

Oh, I will undoubtedly overspend, as I do every year. However, I feel like I've gotten good value for what I overspent on! Hee.

Our wings are not tired.

I need to spend some time shopping on line SOON. I hate shopping. I'm hoping that some diligent searching will yield some savings.

Today I need to decorate (and clean).

I'm off to shower, finally. Since we've already had enough snow to cause major traffic back-ups from accidents, I figured it was time to put new tires on the car so I didn't become part of the problem. I've got a 3 o'clock appointment and I figure I can do a little more Christmas shopping while they work on the car. It's gonna be crowded, which sucks, but if I can finish off the major gifts today, I'll be happy.
