All is well that ends in pizza.

So much for the "End" of the Tropical Storm Season.... Epsilon is alive and well in the middle Atlantic.

I have made mushroom soup. I didn't that know I could.

Herding cats for fun

Yum. Mushroom soup! There's this Polish restaurant I like that serves mushroom sauce over mashed potatoes. So good you can think about skipping the sausage, if you're in a mind to watch calories.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cassie, can you hop on an IM?

The soup is really very good. Wish I remembered how I made it. I know there were mushrooms, chicken stock and milk involved but it would stand to reason that it was more complicated than that.

Online for the moment.

Holy crap I killed the thread. Huh.

I am writing (and by "writing" I obviously mean "obsessively thinking about without ever committing word to page or screen") one of those* emails tonight.

  • The ones where you might be all grown up and adult and everything but you still feel the need to explain every single thing to your parents and friends. Where you have made a decision and then quaver at having to tell people. Because what if they don't get it or don't approve. One of those.

Well that is that.

I was drafting a test email and somehow clicked the button that sent it. Thankfully, except for not having any sort of closing, it was well written, even if I wasn't sure I wanted to send it just yet.

This is why composing in an alternate program is so very important, boys and girls.

I am email brave tonight. I should shut the computer for the night though.

How come late night emails feel so much like drunk dialing even when you haven't been drinking?

Instead of shushing you kindly and tottering you back to bed to sleep it off, the digital canvas simply smiles blankly while you type on and on and on.

Thereby not stopping me from running at the mouth fingers.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh. Wait, what's the etiquette when someone's drunk dialing you? I mean, if they're making an international call, they deserve some courtesy, right?

Mostly lurking...

{{{Cass}}} Hope you're off having sweet dreams.

I am "off" today. The only thing on my schedule is therapy. But, I need to write a 4-page outline for my Computers and Humans final paper. FUN! (Not really.)
