I hate to purl! I always wind up with extra stitches somehow.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm just glad to hear they like something.
Ah, Beverly, I understand. So sad though.
Beverly, that was what I thought when I saw that - the phrasing was so close to the line from Angel.
Happiest of Birthdays to Princess Emeline!!!!
I've heard the opposite - that a flu shot (which may be live, but weakened pathogens) can result in a very low-grade flu
Well the handout said it was a dead virus in the vaccine (the spray vaccine has a weakened live virus I think). And generally when people get sick around the time they have a flu shot that it's just coincidence. The handout did say that a small percentage of people have a flu-like reaction to the shot that might last a day or two.
I'm going to my first Stitch N Bitch tomorrow. I haven't worked on my scarf in a few days, but it's coming along. However, I'm slightly worried someone will point out that I'm doing some of the crocheting wrong. But the scarf looks nice and all the rows are even, I don't think my brother will notice if there are a few flaws.
This is not going well. How in all hell am I gonna make it another 3.5 hours?
vw, break it down into chunks. Make it for another half-hour first.
Also, my presentation partner is angry with me, and the other girl sitting in the study area we're in thinks I'm a big ol' bitch (there was a woman with an annoying laugh that just wouldn't stop laughing. I said I wanted to strangle her. She didn't find that very funny and has rolled her eyes and given me dirty looks since).

I think I've been dropping them! This is the first scarf I've tried to do in anything other than fluffy/lumpy variegated yarn that's very forgiving of dropped, loose, and extra stitches. I just have to comfort myself that the friend who requested it was informed of my skill level, therefore, caveat requestor.

I've been crocheting for several years and I don't think I've ever managed even rows. Your brother will love it!
