Let me guess. We're in a hurry.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

I think I need this dress: [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think you do too, Steph.

I just realized I need to leave in a little under an hour (TO GO SHOPPING WITH JZ). Mebbe I should shower and consider clothes and pick a book for the BART ride and stuff like that.

Ultimately (for those of you following along at home), I decided on: sweater (such a great color on me), shirt, and really cool, un-Teppy-like skirt.

Now I gotta hop in the shower and out the door.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Top 100!

Made it to choir and was glad to be back, despite my voice cutting out at odd moments because I still have a bit of a cough and scratchy throat. Good thing I'm an alto, and good thing the special music used mostly my very low range. Stupid cold. Colds are not supposed to last 2 1/2 weeks! Stupid sleep deprivation making me a cranky bitch with no immune system.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Teppy, that dress is beeyootiful and I think you should have it.

I'm having espresso machine lust. And kitchen to put espresso machine lust. And cute little espresso cup lust.

move out and draw fire

Was the Coldwater Creek code double-you see aitch two oh three two? As that's the one I got from them, causing me to go shop there, and mention here about the sale, thus incurring death threats from Perkins.

And I think everybitch who wants to should use that code! Fight the power! Down with the elitists!

Played D&D tonight. It rocked. I took out a creature that was supposed to be a tough challenge for the whole party with one shot. (Got lucky, but still. You've gotta love it when that happens.)

I did too, and nearly killed the party with an encounter that was supposed to be an 87.5% chance of party victory. Go figure.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Harvey had another time-out this morning. He jumped up on Daniel's desk, and refused to get down when I told him to. After I put him in the basket, we forgot about him.

It was Sammie who pointed out the upside-down basket to me.

I am now snuggling a very purry Harvey.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Yes, that would be the seecrit code. It looks like everyone can go forth and get half price until Thursday.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

I feel like such an asshole! I've been skimming through all the things that I've missed, and they included lots of very wonderful birthday wishes which I have totally not seen/acknowledged until now!!!

Thank you so much, mi Bitches.
