Mal: Okay. She won't be winning any beauty contests anytime soon. But she is solid. Ship like this, be with ya 'til the day you die. Zoe: 'Cause it's a deathtrap.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Nora is right. Retail is hellish. I don't think I could stand it. Glad you made it through, sj.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

VS is for the most part much easier than Borders hell. It wouldn't be a bad job at all except for the managers a freakish. I think they think retail is the most important thing in the world. You take 10 seconds to breathe when there is a gap in between customers and they freak. We wear headphones and they are talking in our ear constantly about how much more money we NEED to make that hour. It's crazy making.

I've done retail, but that...no, just no.

Tday was good this year - very relaxed with no snipeing . ( which happens on holidays occassionaly) friday I worked and it was way too dull. got home about 630ish - just as the parade was starting. so I got home threw on jeans and a scarf, grabbed a turkey leg and went down town . In time to catch the tap danceing xmas trees, the football players that were holding the 'danceing showflakes' ( giant ballons) , and most important, the imperial storm troopers and darth vader. We don't know why they are in the christmas parade.

Today i did some yard work. It was fun. I think I have finally recovered from the wedding garden work.

Now tagless for your comfort.

The dogs and cat are apparently none the worse for wear. I'm just kicking myself because we considered coming home last night instead of this morning and it would have been better for them if we had. They cooperated nicely, though, and confined their potty incidents to the concrete floor in the basement laundry room. I think I have the best pets, EVER.

I've done retail, but that...no, just no.

Um, a WORLD of NO. That would drive me insane.

Cindy's post made me sniffly. I am so incredibly happy to be back at home. Our holiday was fairly decent. Not a lot of family drama and good food. One small problem with my twin sister, but I'm in the process of working that out.

With each passing year (and most likely because I've had children of my own) our own house feels like the place to be for the holidays. I love that feeling. I miss the feelings of childhood a little bit less each year--it's more fun to make news ones at this point.

Yeah, I think so. She's such a nice kid (she's 19) and I'm friends with her mother. This has been her first lapse but damn, did she make it a doozy. *sigh*

speaking of cats ( wew weren't - you could have fooled my cat) why does my cat do . Stares into his water glass - as if to say- 'I can barely get my head in the glass when there is so little water in there... why o why isn't there more water in my glass' and then, look utterly offened when I take the glass away to put more water in it.
