I had horrible nightmares all night last night that kept waking me up and are still upsetting me. It is probably just holiday anxiety. I am worried that my family is going to say stupid things to Dave tomorrow.

I dreamed my brother told me at family dinner that my mother had always thought that I had trouble with relationships because I was molested as a child. In the dream, that was pretty startling. Now that I'm awake, I'm thinking, what the hell was that?

Fortunately, that's one of the easier parts of the meal to skip -- just don't add any. Disliking cranberry dressing? Harder to get away with.
