Thanks guys. I just can't think of anything worse. They were so happy, and we were so happy for them, because they'd be great parents, and the kid would've wanted for nothing. And there's so little to say. I mean, I'm glad the mother is physically okay, but I can't say that to them, as I suspect right now they'd each gladly trade their lives to have their little boy back.
The world really really sucks from time to time.
And thanks for the link, JZ. I will go look.
Aw, that is so tragic.
ION, is the Ministry still open?
I want them to Kill Some Stupid People.
The Ministry is open and has no Blue Laws.
Except my birthday, but that's just courtesy.
I'll page The Minister.
SEANY!!!!! GET ASS IN HERE!!

ETA: Weird--I cut and pasted the url from the browser window, but it points to a 404. Huh. Well, in Women's Outerwear there's a "400 Coat" that is lovely.
Many sympathies, Raq and friends.
vw = NOT idiot.
panic = can surely be gotten through one way or the other.
vw = should tell us what's up in case we can help.
I just watched the episode of
Bones
that made Steph cry. It made me cry too.
I completely forgot that a rough draft of my final paper is due in Computers and Humans next Wednesday. This is on top of the 3-5 page group paper/presentation that is also due that day. Also, Monday my first draft of Independent Study paper is due, which we've figured will probably be about 30 pages.
I have not started any of these papers. The research for the Computers and Humans final paper hasn't been started, because it didn't occur to me that the 30th was next week. And I will have no internet access this weekend, as I'll be at my grandparents, who have dial-up, and don't allow anyone else to touch that computer.
I'll get through it. It's just, wow. I have A LOT of work to do in not a lot of time.
