You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I completely forgot that a rough draft of my final paper is due in Computers and Humans next Wednesday. This is on top of the 3-5 page group paper/presentation that is also due that day. Also, Monday my first draft of Independent Study paper is due, which we've figured will probably be about 30 pages.

I have not started any of these papers. The research for the Computers and Humans final paper hasn't been started, because it didn't occur to me that the 30th was next week. And I will have no internet access this weekend, as I'll be at my grandparents, who have dial-up, and don't allow anyone else to touch that computer.

I'll get through it. It's just, wow. I have A LOT of work to do in not a lot of time.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Can you borrow a laptop?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Can you borrow a laptop?

This, or maybe get away to the local library for part of the weekend?

I have a laptop that I'm taking with. That's the only way I'll get any work done. I'm going to try to get some research done tomorrow. I'm swamped today getting work done that's due tomorrow.

This two weeks out 'cause of my asthma is kicking my ass now.

It's almost humorous, 'cause this morning I was meeting with my adviser telling him how amazingly good everything was going. Funny how one forgotten paper can suddenly throw the mix into chaos.

do it. At least you won't be fretting that you have nothing done when you should be enjoying family time. If you get it to me today before 1 I might even be able to do some from work. and I know I will tomorrow - one of the slowest days of the year...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm sorry, Raq. I can't imagine how that would be.

Waltzing Matilda is a great song.

It is a bit. When Australia changed its national anthem from God Save The Queen, both the PM and the Leader of the Opposition wanted Waltzing Matilda as the new anthem. However, the will of the people prevailed, and we got Advance Australia Fair.
